AC Shadows Introduces Surprising Attack on Titan Event for Holiday Season
In a surprising partnership that defies traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Uncovered
According to the formal statement, "An unusual meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of banned practices and monstrous changes reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine cult.
The adventure centers on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Changes
The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser ends with a striking scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Bonus Material
Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an exclusive katana alongside multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Newest Free Story Addition
This patch also brings the game's newest complimentary story addition, titled "A Puzzlement."
